Cookies are small amounts of data that are transferred from the Internet to your computer together with the data actually requested. This data is stored there and kept ready for later retrieval. DVV Media uses the following types of cookies for

  1. Session-Cookies:
These are cookies that are only stored on your computer for the duration of an Internet session. These cookies are deleted when the session is ended, i.e. when you leave the website or when you close the browser window.

  2. A cookie is also used for user authentication. Different cookies can be used for this purpose: By default, cookies are used which are only generated for the respective session. They store information about the user name, user rights and the validity of the session.

  3. Google-Re/Marketing Services:
We use the marketing and remarketing services (hereinafter "Google Marketing Services") of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter "Google"). The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent).
The Google Marketing Services allow us to display advertisements for and on our website in a more targeted manner in order to present users only with advertisements that potentially correspond to their interests. If, for example, a user is shown ads for products that he or she has been interested in on other websites, this is referred to as "remarketing". For these purposes, when you access our and other websites on which Google Marketing Services are active, a code is executed directly by Google and so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, also known as "web beacons") are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie, i.e. a small file, is stored on the user's device (instead of cookies, comparable technologies can also be used). The cookies can be set by various domains, including,,, or This file records which websites the user has visited, what content he is interested in and which offers he has clicked on, as well as technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, visiting time and other information about the use of the online offer. The IP address of the user is also recorded. Within the framework of Google Analytics, we inform you that the IP address is shortened within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and only in exceptional cases is it transmitted in full to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address is not merged with user data within other Google offers. Google may also combine the above-mentioned information with information from other sources. If the user subsequently visits other websites, the ads tailored to his interests can be displayed.
User data is processed pseudonymously within the framework of Google Marketing Services. This means, for example, that Google does not store and process the name or e-mail address of the user, but processes the relevant data cookie-related within pseudonymous user profiles. This means that, from Google's point of view, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specifically identified person, but for the cookie holder, regardless of who that cookie holder is. This does not apply if a user has expressly permitted Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The data collected by Google Marketing Services about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google servers in the USA.
We may include third-party advertisements based on Google Marketing Services Google Ad Manager. Google Ad Manager uses cookies to enable Google and its partner websites to serve ads based on users' visits to our website or other websites on the Internet.
We may include third-party ads based on Google Marketing Services "AdSense". AdSense uses cookies to enable Google and its partner websites to serve ads based on users' visits to our website and other websites on the Internet.
We may also use the "Google Tag Manager" to integrate and manage Google's analysis and marketing services on our websites.
For more information about Google's use of data for marketing purposes, please visit Google's privacy policy can be found at If you would like to opt-out of receiving interest-based advertising from Google Marketing Services, you may do so using the opt-out and opt-in options provided by Google (

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google") and uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent). The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, since we have activated IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and only shortened there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website for us, to compile reports on website activity for the website operator and to provide other services related to website and internet use. This website uses Google Analytics reports on demographic characteristics, in which data from interest-related advertising by Google and visitor data from third parties (e.g. age, gender and interests) are used. This data can be deactivated at any time via the ad settings. If you click on one of the buttons, you will be prompted in a new window to log in to the corresponding social network. If you do not click the button or are not logged in to the social network, no social network cookie will be placed on your computer. If you are a user of the social network and logged in and click the button, this information will be transmitted to your corresponding user profile. Other users can then see that you share/twitter this article. Exactly which users receive this information depends on the privacy settings you have set on your user profile. YouTube's embedded videos are used within the scope of YouTube's permitted use, which all users must accept. If you see any copyright infringement, please report it directly to YouTube.

  3. We use embedded YouTube videos in enhanced privacy mode. This means that YouTube does not store cookies for a user who views a website with an embedded YouTube video player, but does not click on the video to start playback. When the YouTube video player is clicked, YouTube may store cookies on the user's computer, but no personally identifiable cookie information is stored for embedded video playback. § 9 Use of the scalable central measurement method

Our website uses the measuring method ("SZMnG") of INFOnline GmbH ( to determine statistical parameters on the use of our offers. The aim of the usage measurement is to statistically determine the number of visits to our website, the number of website visitors and their surfing behavior - on the basis of a uniform standard procedure - and thus to obtain values that are comparable throughout the market.

For all digital services that are members of the Informationsgemeinschaft zur Feststellung der Verbreitung von Werbeträgern e.V. (IVW - or to the studies of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Online-Forschung e.V. (AGOF -, the usage statistics are regularly updated by AGOF and the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Media-Analyse e.V. (agma - and published with the performance value "Unique User" as well as by the IVW with the performance values "Page Impression" and "Visits". These ranges and statistics can be viewed on the respective websites.

Legal basis and purpose
The measurement by means of the SZMnG measurement procedure by INFOnline GmbH shall be carried out with justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The purpose of processing the personal data is the compilation of statistics and the creation of user categories. The statistics serve to trace and document the use of our offer. The user categories form the basis for the alignment of advertising material or advertising measures in line with the interests of the user. In order to market this website, it is essential to measure usage in order to ensure comparability with other market participants. Our legitimate interest results from the economic usability of the knowledge resulting from the statistics and user categories and the market value of our website - also in direct comparison with websites of third parties - which can be determined by means of the statistics. Furthermore, we have a legitimate interest in making the pseudonymized data available to INFOnline, AGOF and IVW for the purpose of market research (AGOF, agma) and for statistical purposes (INFOnline, IVW). Furthermore, we have a legitimate interest in making the pseudonymized data available to INFOnline for further development and provision of advertising material in line with our interests.

Type of data
INFOnline GmbH collects the following data, which are personal data according to EU-GDPR:

  1. IP adress:
On the Internet, every device requires a unique address, the so-called IP address, to transmit data. Due to the way the Internet functions, it is technically necessary to store the IP address at least for a short period of time. The IP addresses are shortened by 1 byte before any processing and are only processed further in an anonymized form. There is no storage or further processing of the unabridged IP addresses.

  2. A randomly generated client identifier:
The range processing uses alternatively either a third party cookie, a first party cookie, a "Local Storage Object" or a signature, which is created from various automatically transmitted information of your browser, to recognize computer systems. This identifier is unique for a browser as long as the cookie or Local Storage Object is not deleted. A measurement of the data and subsequent assignment to the respective client identifier is therefore also possible when you call up other websites that also use the measurement method ("SZMnG") of INFOnline GmbH. The validity of the cookie is limited to a maximum of 1 year.

Usage of the data
The INFOnline GmbH measurement method used on this website determines usage data. This is done in order to collect the performance values of page impressions, visits and clients and to form further key figures from this (e.g. qualified clients). Furthermore, the measured data is used as follows:

  1. A so-called geolocalization, i.e. the allocation of a website call to the place of the call, is exclusively based on the anonymized IP address and only up to the geographical level of the federal states / regions. From the geographical information obtained in this way, it is in no case possible to draw conclusions about the concrete location of a user.

  2. The usage data of a technical client (e.g. a browser on a device) are combined across websites and stored in a database. This information is used for the technical estimation of the socioinformation age and gender and is passed on to the service providers of AGOF for further coverage processing. Within the scope of the AGOF study, socio characteristics are technically estimated on the basis of a random sample, which can be assigned to the following categories: Age, gender, nationality, professional activity, marital status, general household data, household income, place of residence, Internet use, online interests, place of use, user type.

Data storage period
The complete IP address is not stored by INFOnline GmbH. The abbreviated IP address is stored for a maximum of 60 days. The usage data in connection with the unique identifier is stored for a maximum of 6 months.

Passing on of data
The IP address as well as the shortened IP address will not be passed on. For the preparation of the AGOF study, data with client identifiers will be forwarded to the following AGOF service providers:

Right of objection
If you do not wish to take part in the measurement, you can object by clicking on the following link: To guarantee exclusion from the measurement, it is technically necessary to set a cookie. If you delete the cookies in your browser, it will be necessary to repeat the opt-out process under the above link.
