EDITORIAL NO 032 | 2022

The boom in demand for natural gas again generated major orders this week. South Korea won contracts worth US$1.5 billion for gas carriers destined to transport exports from Qatar. Japan won a deal for one combined liquefied petroleum gas and liquified ammonia gas carrier. Chinese orders included an ethane carrier and bulkers. The naval sector saw contracts worth US$1.42 billion for support vessels placed in the United States.
