The naval sector was very active this week, with a European Navy ordering ships for signals intelligence expected to be worth over EUR 2 billion. The US Government awarded a contract worth USD 624.6 million for the construction of two new advanced marine research vessels. A new submarine contract involving a European partner is expected to be announced in Asia.
