Chinese orders included the tanker and bulk carrier sectors while a large container vessel deal is expected. Welcome signs came again that at least part of the cruise sector is recovering from the corona pandemic, with new inland waterways passenger ships are to be built for operation on European rivers. A multi-billion euro naval deal was finally awarded in Europe after a long contest against U.S. yards. More minehunters are also to be ordered by a European navy.
